1 Tonne of CO2 Cube Installation by Bonanno and Cornubert

Located in the Copenhagen Planetarium is the 1 Tonne CO2 Cube designed and installed by Alfio Bonanno and Christophe Cornubert. As the trend of “going green” takes over society, there is much concern about the amount of carbon emissions that is constantly growing. The 27 foot cube is actually composed of one ton of CO2 which represents the amount emitted by the average person in the course of a month. The architects' hope is to make those not in the profession aware of the implications of their actions with this installation.
