Designed by Bay Area architects William Wurster and Theodore Bernardi for Arts & Architecture magazine in 1945. Delineator: Arne Kartwold. It was built in the Mandeville Canyon section of Los Angeles in 1948. Copies of the original plan are for sale at, with a percentage of the plan price supporting the Environmental Design Archives @ UC Berkeley.
