Pier House by Gabriel Grinspum and Mariana Simas

Brazil is a country with many rivers and lakes that many people take advantage of by building their vacation houses on. One of these is the “Pier House”, a beautifully formed geometric structure that is set in a natural paradise, on a beach, next to a rich tropical forest with no access by road. Due to the location and lack of accessibility many of the materials used were prefabricated wood components. This new vacation retreat in Brazil’s Saco Do Mamangua, in Paraty, was designed by two young talented architects, Gabriel Grinspum and Mariana Simas who are currently working for Marcio Kogan, This is a beautiful eco-friendly house in an extremely beautiful setting.
