Low Energy Consumption House by Christina Zerva Architects

This eco-friendly house located in Nikaia, Greece was designed as two cubic forms by Christina Zerva Architects. The larger of the two cubes features the main living area, kitchen, bathrooms, laundry and the master suite; the other cube contains the childrens wing connecting the two with a glass bridge. The skeleton construction is prefabricated organic blocks wrapped in steel for insulation, additionally recycled and reclaimed materials have been used. Photovoltaic panels are located on the roof and all the interior and exterior illumination is LED modules.
