JAL opens international lounges at Haneda Airport in Tokyo

JAL’s international lounges began operation on 21 October 2010 in concurrence with the official opening of the newest international terminal building, Tokyo International Airport Terminal (TIAT). JAL has also completed renovation of the Diamond Premium Lounge and Sakura Lounge in the North and South Wings at Haneda’s domestic passenger Terminal 1. The Sakura Lounge is designed to feature three diverse zones that cater to the varying needs of customers. These zones are: business express, deli and entertainment, and quiet and relax – an area furnished with comfortable sofas and the latest massage chairs. Departure lounges offer a variety of amenities such as sumptuous and spacious shower rooms, PC power outlets, free wireless and cable Internet connection, and special printer services. JAL’s first-ever international Arrival Lounge is intended to cater to eligible passengers landing in Japan early in the morning. The lounge is equipped with six shower suites, semi-private rooms with sofa seats, free internet connection and light snacks.
