San Jose Airport in California

Mineta San Jose International Airport in California has achieved LEED-Silver certification for its Terminal B Concourse designed by global architectural practice Gensler. The green certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) recognizes the building’s advanced design methods and building materials that offered the project an innovative and environmentally conscious form. The Terminal B Concourse is a 380,000 square feet, $342 million building, which is the first major element of the airport's $1.3 billion modernisation plan. San Francisco-based Gensler worked in collaboration with Steinberg Associates.
