SPG Architects transformed an abandoned steel frame and concrete slab structure erected on a remote Costa Rican coastal hillside into a five-level, indoor-outdoor residence on a rain-forested mountainside overlooking the Golfo Dulce in Costa Rica. Located on a rain-forested site that overlooks the Pacific Ocean, the 18,000 square foot house is “environmentally sensitive, technologically advanced, and modernist by design.
