Incredibly Realistic Paintings of 170 Trees

Hard to believe these are oil paintings, but in the series Trees On A Line, Trey Friedman has been painstakingly painting each of 170 trees found along a half-mile stretch in Connecticut since 2004. He photo documented the trees and then assigns each one a number as he recreates it in oil paints and glazes so accurately that it looks like a photograph.
