Monsanto, Portugal, The Town Squeezed Between Giant Boulders

The charming village of Monsanto, Portugal is surely a wonder to see as the quaint little town sits squeezed between giant boulders and tiny streets carved through the rocks. Voted "the most Portuguese village in Portugal" in 1938, this town has yet changed with its unique appearance. Building restrictions have allowed it to remain as a living museum though its not easy to reach. However, the panoramic views of this majestic place definitely make it worth the trip.
