The Krusevo Makedonium

In celebration of the Macedonian rise against the Ottoman Empire that led to their freedom sparked the construction of the Krusevo Makedonium. This massive, baroque structure overlooks the town of Krusevo from over 4,000 feet and has become a Macedonian symbol as it made it on the 10,000 Denari bill. It represents a strong standhold of freedom even with it's unusual but modern look. The white, obscure shape that resembles a heart valve could symbolize the brave hearts of the soldiers who fought for their freedom 70 years ago in the Ilinden uprising. Enjoy this massive structure of Macedonian pride as it's unique make up can befuddle, but dazzle your eyes.
