House in Nakameguro by Yoritaka Hayashi Architects

Daylight naturally pours into the fine interiors of the “House in Nakameguro” in Tokyo, Japan. This home by Japanese firm Yoritaka Hayashi Architects provides ample space within its carefully arranged four stories of the three-storey building. Strips of translucent glazing cloaks the borders transforming the home into a light-filled dwelling at night. Communal spaces connect to the kitchen, dining room and living room on the second floor. A sense of solitude is established within the corridors of the third and fourth floor in the bedrooms, washroom and study area.
