YAP MAXXI | Young Design Program 2012

MoMA/PS1 and MAXXI support the architects under 35. YAP (Young Architects Program), founded in New York in 2000, is an initiative aimed at young designers (recent graduates, architects, designers and artists) offering an opportunity to conceive and design a space for live summer events in the large MoMA PS1 courtyard in New York (since 2000) and in the MAXXI Piazza Boetti in Rome (since 2011). This year a new international partner joins the program: the cultural institution CONSTRUCTO of Santiago de Chile, a platform for the promotion of contemporary architecture in Latin America.
