Residence for a Briard by Sander Architects

The Los Angeles based studio Sander Architects designed the Residence for a Briard, a 3,800 square foot contemporary duplex residence located in Culver City, a city in western Los Angeles County, California, USA. One of the factors that influenced everything from stair design to finishing materials was Hobbes, the Briard a large dog for whom the home is named. This is an instance when it was important that a design “go to the dogs.
