50th Anniversary of the Ferrari GTO: Event

Fifty years ago, Ferrari introduced what was to become one of the world’s most valuable collectible cars, the Ferrari 250 GTO. The 3-liter V-12 engine suffered only two losses in its three-year racing career and celebrated a win in its class for every championship race it entered in 1962 and 1963. Now, 12 GTOs, including several from Series I and Series II and a 330 LM Berlinetta, will be on display at this year’s 17th annual Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance taking place March 9 to 11.
