Ode to Doug Fir

The original fir trivets were scraps from a reclaimed beam. Their beauty, however, was mezmerizing -- the color, annual rings, checks and other traits normally considered defects composed a gorgeous graphic on a flat square. A little sanding, finish, and feet transformed them into trivets that look beautiful in multiples on a table or stacked up on a sideboard. They are simply a celebration of the Douglas Fir.
