Electrical Boxes Transformed Into Art in Bulgaria

Along the street of Rakovsky in Sofia, Bulgaria stood 51 ugly, flyer encrusted electrical boxes belonging to the municipality. Their chipped paint, hulking metal, and filth detracted from the surrounding city’s beauty. The Association of Transformers, the CEZ Bulgaria, and the Sofia Municipal authorities came together with a plan to unleash street artists on the 51 decaying metal boxes and have them transformed to beauty.
