The Box by Ralph Erskine

When poor economic conditions during the war years made work scarce, architect Ralph Erskine built a low-cost two-room house for his family of four. Clever furniture designs allowed the space to serve multiple functions. The couple and their two young daughters lived in the 215 sq ft (20 m2) house for four years.
