A new layout for Tuscolana House, an apartment in Rome, Italy
Tuscolana House is the union of two apartments in Rome, completely redesigned by cafelab studio. The original layout of the house was partially preserved, keeping a dual entrance and joining the two existing living areas to create a large living room with kitchen separated by sliding glass doors. The new layout has allowed to give to the master bedroom a comfortable walk-in closet, to expand the bathrooms, to create a small study and to add a guest room with bathroom and private entrance. The accuracy in the choice of materials is the main theme of the new design of this interiors; the use of textures and materials carefully selected paintings gave a very personal and contemporary look to this space.
