Award-Winning Pattern Joins Brentanos Jubilee

New, 25th anniversary collection includes contract fabric Equinox Chicago, Ill. September 2015 In honor of Brentanos Silver Jubilee anniversary, the fall 2015 Jubilee collection delivers a signature balance of contract performance and residential flair that pushes the limits of expected design. One of the 20 new patterns, Equinox proved a showstopper at NeoCon and won an IIDAHD Product Design award at the HD Expo this summer. An intricate tessellation of triangles accented by saturated color facets, Equinox undulates from dark to light and back to dark in a metaphor for day and night. Designed for high-performance, contract applications, 54 Equinox has a strong, nylon warp with a GreenShield finish and abrasion resistance of 75,000 double rubs Wyzenbeek, Cotton Duck. Cotton lends the construction its softness and rich coloration, while fine, post-consumer recycled polyester yarns define the pattern. About Brentano: The Brentano Design Studio, led by Iris Wang, celebrates 25 years in 2015. The textile house has grown from a modest eight patterns in 1990 into an international source for polyurethane faux leather, outdoor, Crypton, Nano-Tex and GreenShield-finished, eco-friendly and fire retardant products. The carefully curated line reflects Iris lifelong study of fine art, nature and Asian philosophy in beautiful, high-performing solutions for the contract, hospitality, healthcare and residential markets.
