Revisiting my Mid-Century roots.. Bauhaus Inspired Lighting

As a former Senior Designer for Donald Deskey Assoc, NYC, I recently re-visited my design roots with a Bauhaus inspired table lamp. Minimalist and boldly graphic in black, white and gold, a pure white dome illuminates the two brass rings on top. The slender, square lampshade is made of ebonized walnut. The underside of the shade is made of translucent white Lucite which allows the full light of bulb to illuminate the table or desk surface. The solid brass post sits on a stepped walnut base. 24" tall x 14" square. Uses a 60 watt equivalent LED bulb- dimmable. Designed and hand made by Art Donovan, Southampton, NY
