RG24, by Rui Grazina
RG24 The pure form of a sphere is at the inception of this piece. This is divided into two equal surfaces by a plane that cuts it symmetrically. The piece creates a relationship both visually and tactilely, through the process of discovering how it is composed, and how it simultaneously deconstructs itself by changing its initial complete form. The plastic capacities and subtle characteristics of concrete establish complex textures that generate variations on the level of light and shade. Executed in concrete, for its unique plastic capacity, texture and weight. It is about 10cm in diameter. The piece will be issued in multiple copies. Available at firstname.lastname@example.org.
