Vortex, repurposed wine barrel rings, hoops pendant light, chandelier, black, with glass shade

After spending a few years parked on the back-burner and having gone through a few stages of redesigning and a couple of prototypes, it is finally here: our Vortex light is reborn! Vortex is a pendant ceiling light made by skillfully welding together several metal hoops recycled from discarded oak wine barrels. The staggered arrangement of the rings confers this pendant light a very unusual and fascinating shape, different and interesting from every angle. The bands repurposed from used wine barrels are made of galvanized steel that gives this extraordinary piece a very definite urban feel. The new -and very much improved- Vortex has been redesigned structurally to maximize manufacturing efficiency and stability, while keeping the same design esthetics. The light fixture is about 17 in diameter, 21 tall (rod and canopy excluded).
